My story

~ I can live in any size home, including apartments.~ I have not had much experience with children but am willing to consider sharing my home with kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets.~ I have not had much experience with cats or dogs but am willing to consider sharing my home with a furry friend.~ I have a moderate amount of energy and enjoy daily walks!~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a family who has owned a dog before. ~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.Buddy is a 13-year-old neutered terrier mix with a youthful spirit and lots of love to give. Surrendered after his owner fell on hard times, hes ready for a fresh start with a caring family. Dont let his age fool you - Buddy has a moderate amount of energy and will thrive with daily exercise and mental enrichment. He can live in any size home, including an apartment, as long as his activity needs are met. Hes housetrained, knows sit, enjoys being brushed, and tends to be a low vocal dog. On walks he can be enthusiastic and may pull, so continued positive reinforcement will help him shine. Buddy is a social butterfly who enjoys meeting people and is open to meeting other pets. Buddy also has some special needs, and our adoption counselors would be happy to share more. He still has plenty of life to live and is ready to find a loving home to spend his golden years.
