My story

My name is Miso, and I am a 7-year-old Chihuahua weighing 5.5 pounds. I am looking for a forever home after my previous owners were no longer able to care for me.   I am a well-behaved, happy, and easy-going boy. I am house and crate trained, walk well on a leash, and enjoy car rides. Because of my small size, I fit easily into a pouch so you can take me with you while running errands.  Most of all, I am a snuggly companion who just wants someone to love. I co-exist with the other small dogs in my foster home but I am not a fan of dogs that are way bigger than I am.   To ensure my safety, my ideal forever home should meet the following criteria:   - Constant Supervision: I must be supervised at all times when outdoors due to my size and the risk of predators like hawks, owls, and coyotes. - Adult-Only Home: An adult-only environment is best suited for my small stature.   If you are looking for a loyal companion to care for, I would love to meet you.   Miso had dental surgery to remove bad teeth that were bothering him and making it difficult for him to eat. He is also neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Miso does takes daily thyroid medicine.   His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses.
