QUICK FACTS Name: Linse Age: About 2 Years Old (Born in January 2024) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mix Color: White Weight: 14.5kg / 32lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was found with my leg caught in an illegal trap, badly hurt and unable to escape on my own. The pain was frightening, and I didn’t know if anyone would come for me. But someone did. I was rescued, treated, and finally given the care I had been missing for so long. Now I’m slowly healing, learning that gentle hands and safe places do exist. Despite everything, I still greet the world with quiet hope—and I’m ready for brighter days ahead.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Linse. I’m a gentle and thoughtful girl who enjoys life at a calm, steady pace. I may take a moment to feel comfortable when meeting someone new, but I relax easily and enjoy quiet affection and companionship. People often describe me as incredibly sweet and easy to care for. I enjoy tasty treats, cozy blankets, and having a peaceful little space of my own where I can fully relax. Bath time and daily care don’t bother me much either—I’m the kind of dog who settles nicely into home life. If you’re looking for a calm, well-mannered companion with a soft heart and a peaceful presence, I would love to spend my days quietly by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean against you, and enjoy gentle attention, even from someone I’ve just met. I warm up very easily and often roll over to show my belly as a sweet way of saying I trust you. I’m also comfortable being picked up. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m an incredibly social dog who loves meeting new friends—I’ll happily walk right up, say hello, and invite them to play. Big dogs, small dogs, dogs my own size—it doesn’t really matter to me. I approach everyone with the same friendly, open-hearted energy. Even if another dog gets a little pushy or rude, I’d much rather step away and keep things peaceful than get involved in conflict. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. On walks, I can get a little excited and pull at times, but I naturally stay connected and follow my person well. I’m generally a good walking companion, though big cars can still feel a little intimidating to me sometimes. When something feels overwhelming, I may pause and lower myself for reassurance, but with calm guidance, I’m able to move through it and regain my confidence.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a calm, easygoing nature and feel comfortable sharing my space, even around food. I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark. I settle nicely in a kennel I adapt well to different routines, including both indoor and outdoor bathroom habits.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I only have three legs, but I move through daily life very well and don’t let it stop me from enjoying the world around me. I do best with shorter, slower walks on flat ground, where I can take my time sniffing and exploring comfortably.
