My story

Hi, I’m Garbanzo!Every day, I wake up ready to play and explore! I’m a sweet and smart boy that loves long neighbourhood walks—I can’t wait to meet new dogs and people. I’m still a puppy so I’m still learning my manners: right now I’m working on being jumpy and a bit mouthy when I’m excited, but I redirect really well with toys or treats. Overall, I’m a confident and well-rounded puppy that would be a great match for a family that’s excited about continuing positive reinforcement training and socialization!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Yes, with respectful older children who won`t mind a dog jumping up.OTHER DOGS: Yes, a home with a playful dog to romp around with will be preferred.CATS: No, given I like to chase kitties.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Yes, if you are prepared for the time, energy and attention needed to raise a teenager-pup!FENCED-IN YARD: A home with a safe space for me to run would be preferred but not required as long as you have a realistic plan for physical exercise.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, but home alone for full work days may not be ideal especially while I’m a puppy.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes, but expect a few accidents while I settle in to my new home!If you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `adopt me` button to apply!
