My story

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:I am calm, gentle and lovable. I am easy to walk, intelligent and good at communicating with people. I love nature and playing with balls. I only bark when someone is at the door.I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted.I just want to make sure we all get along.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 50.6 Age: 5yrs 0mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nikita, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
