QUICK FACTS Name: Sappoon Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Beige Weight: 15.6kg / 33lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY In 2025, I was rescued from a terrible situation after being dragged alongside a motorcycle. By the time I was finally safe, my paw pads had been badly injured, and the scars are still with me today. Even so, I haven’t let those painful memories take away my gentle heart. Little by little, I’m learning that life can be kind, quiet, and safe too. These days, I’m focusing on healing and enjoying the small comforts I once never knew. And through it all, I still look at people with hope in my eyes.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying Scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Sappoon. I’m a classic Jindo at heart—calm, thoughtful, and quietly loyal. I have a gentle, well-balanced personality and naturally enjoy being around people. Once I’m comfortable, I stay close with a soft, steady kind of affection that feels easy and comforting. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a calm spirit, gentle manners, and the quiet charm that Jindos are known for, I would love to share a peaceful life by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean against you, and enjoy gentle attention, even from someone I’ve just met. Being picked up feels comfortable for me. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and curious when meeting other dogs, often walking up to say hello in a calm and polite way, even if I don’t always choose to play afterward. I’m generally comfortable around dogs of all sizes, but very high-energy dogs can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for me. If another dog is pushy or confrontational, I may react in return, so thoughtful introductions and respectful dog friends help me feel most at ease. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. Walks feel natural and enjoyable for me—I move calmly on leash, stay nicely connected to my person, and make an easy companion to have by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m gentle and trusting with people around my food, and I’m happy to share space comfortably during mealtimes. Around other dogs, I may quietly communicate my boundaries while eating if another dog comes too close, simply because I prefer a little personal space during meals. I settle calmly in a kennel. I generally prefer doing my bathroom breaks outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
