My story

Everest is a two-year-old Great Dane/Mastiff mix who has already made a big impression at Big Hearts for Big Breeds. With his big blocky head and soft, expressive face, this sweet boy absolutely melts into a puddle the moment he’s getting affection. Everest is a gentle, submissive soul who leans into love and enjoys being close to his people. While we’re still getting to know him, he is already showing that he does well with other dogs and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. As Everest settles into rescue, we’re excited to continue learning more about him and watching his personality unfold. What’s already clear is that he’s a kind-hearted, affectionate dog who is ready for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
