QUICK FACTS Name: Youngsoon Age: About 2 Years Old (Estimated to be born on July 2024) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 12kg / 26.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I used to live with an elderly lady, but even in the coldest winters, I preferred sleeping outside instead of in my doghouse. She tried to keep me warm with tents and mats, and I always stayed close, gentle and loyal, happy to be by her side. Even when people suggested she give me up for my safety, she couldn’t let go. Then one day, after she was hurt while caring for me, her son decided I should be sent to guard a field in the mountains. Thankfully, kind rescuers found me and brought me back to safety. Now I’m learning that life can be gentle and secure, and that there’s more warmth waiting beyond the fields.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Youngsoon. I’m a neat and clever Jindo girl with a warm, affectionate heart. I love people and enjoy showing my trust by gently rolling over for a belly rub. Cuddles are one of my favorite things, and I happily lean in for attention whenever I feel safe and comfortable. I’m polite and well-mannered, taking treats gently and responding thoughtfully to guidance. If you’re looking for a smart, gentle companion who loves closeness and quietly shares joy, I would be thrilled to grow alongside you and fill your home with affection.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean in for attention, and enjoy gentle touch, even with someone I’ve just met. Once I trust you, I love showing my softer side, often rolling over to share my belly. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which helps me feel safe and secure. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may need a little time and gentle guidance with them. · With Dogs: I’m polite and curious when meeting unfamiliar dogs, usually walking up to say hello but not turning it into playtime. I prefer calm, brief introductions and enjoy observing other dogs without feeling the need to engage in active play.  · With Cats: I haven’t been observed around cats in a home setting yet, but when I see a stray cat outside while on a leash, I tend to bark out of curiosity.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. Walks come naturally to me—I move calmly on leash, stay close to my person, and make a relaxed, easygoing companion for everyday outings.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a calm and easygoing nature and don’t feel the need to guard my food around people or other dogs. I settle nicely in a kennel I generally prefer doing my bathroom breaks outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I thrive best with self-regulated routines, especially when it comes to meals, and I quietly manage my own eating schedule with ease. I’m still learning about the world outside of my comfort zone, so I do best in a patient, caring home where I can adjust at my own pace.
