Meet Sydney — a gentle soul looking for the comfort and stability he deserves. This sweet boy spent his life alongside a homeless woman who loved him deeply but could no longer care for him. Now, Sydney is hoping to find a quiet, loving home where he can finally relax and simply be cared for. Sydney is a calm and easygoing dog who enjoys the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a full belly, and kind people nearby. He gets along well with other dogs, though he has shown some resource guarding tendencies around food, so he’ll do best with an adopter who can manage feeding time appropriately and continue helping him feel secure. He recently had a dental and is feeling so much better, ready to start this next chapter healthy and happy. Sydney doesn’t ask for much — just patience, understanding, and a soft place to land. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion with a sweet heart and a peaceful presence.
