My story

Meet Lucy! She is an American Pit Bull mix with a shy and timid personality. Because of this, we highly recommend that she meet the entire family before going home so she can feel comfortable and build trust at her own pace. Lucy was kenneled with another dog in our care so slow introductions are recommended with any resident pets. Although she may be reserved at first, Lucy absolutely loves treats, the quickest way to her heart is definitely through her stomach! Once she warms up, she shows her playful and energetic side and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run and play. Lucy has also shown off some impressive parkour skills and is able to climb a 6-foot fence, so she will need a secure yard with fencing 6 feet high or taller to keep her safe.
