Maisy

My story

This is Maisy, an 11-year-old Border Collie mix and truly a wonderful dog. She has been my loyal companion for the past 11 years, and making the decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult. With a busy, energetic toddler in the house, Maisy is no longer thriving in the way she deserves. She would do best in a calmer environment where she can enjoy her golden years with the attention and predictability she loves. Maisy is extremely intelligent, fully house-trained, and a great companion. She has lived happily in both a home with a yard and doggy door as well as an apartment during my graduate school years, proving how adaptable she can be. She would be happiest as the only dog in the home and with older children who can respect her space. She has done well around my older nieces and nephews and enjoys being part of the family. Despite being 11 years old, Maisy is healthy, active, and has had no significant medical issues. She still has plenty of love and companionship.
