My story

*Note: Joosi is currently in Korea but she will be arriving in Toronto once she is adopted.For more info about the dog or the adoption application please click here.BackgroundJoosi was rescued from a city pound in Gwangju, Korea earlier this year. Since then, she has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house, receiving lots of love and care while waiting for her forever family.Personality and SocializationJoosi is a very sociable and friendly girl. She is affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. She greets strangers warmly and quickly charms everyone with her sweet personality.She really enjoys the company of other dogs and especially loves playing with young and playful companions. Being around other dogs helps her feel happy and confident. She has not been tested with cats, but with slow and proper introductions, she may adjust well.BehavioursJoosi walks nicely on a leash and travels well in the car. She handles bath time and vet visits calmly. She is trained to use both indoor pee pads and go outside for potty. She loves toys especially a woodstick and is a quick learner who enjoys spending time and interacting with her people.Health and DietJoosi is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. She is on regular monthly parasite prevention. When she was rescued, she had an ear infection which has fully healed. However, that experience left her a little sensitive about being touched around the ear area. She eats dry food twice a day and has not shown any signs of allergies.Ideal HomeJoosi is a loving and adaptable girl who could do well with many types of families. She would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she really enjoys companionship. A home with another friendly and playful dog would be a wonderful match for her.
