My story

Frederico joins our rescue from Pinal County Animal Care & Control where he has been overlooked since July of 2025. He was surrendered by his owner after living his life on a 6-foot chain. Frederico was shown kindness and softness at the shelter and eventually came out of his shell to be the amazing boy he is today. Striking blue eyes and a personality to match, this guy is quickly using his charm to win over our volunteers. Frederico is sweet and friendly when he meets new people. He’s a total ham that loves to give and receive affection. Frederico is 4 years old but definitely still has that young, goofy pup spunk to him. He loves to run around the yard, play with toys and in the water. Frederico walks nice on a leash and knows basic commands. He is super dog-friendly with proper introductions with both male and female dogs. Frederico is described as a gentleman during his play groups at Pinal, taking corrections from dogs well and helping bring timid dogs out of their shells. How has Frederico been waiting this long without a home? With his amazing traits, he will make a great addition to someone’s household. He will thrive with structure, routine and lots of love.
