🐾 Meet Doongdoong 🐾 📍 Current Location: South Korea ❤️ Basic Information Age: 1.5 years old Sex: Male Weight: 7.5kg Breed: Terrier Mix Health Status: Currently undergoing heartworm treatment (expected to be completed by the end of July) 🐶 Personality & Behavior Doongdoong is a very people-loving dog who also gets along well with other dogs. He can be a little jealous at times, but never to the point of starting fights. He is usually the first one to come forward for cuddles and affection. 💖 People-Friendly He loves being close to people and quietly watches them because he simply wants to be with them. 💖 Kid-Friendly He does well with young children. 💖 Dog-Friendly He is social and gets along well with other dogs. 💖 Cat-Friendly He shows very little interest in cats. 🏡 Daily Habits & Training ✅ Potty Habits He prefers going potty outdoors. If he smells other dogs indoors, he may mark occasionally. ✅ Walking He walks well on a leash, though loud noises can startle him. ✅ Energy Level Medium energy level. He is generally calm and quiet. However, he can become anxious when left alone. He does not bark or destroy things, but he may walk in circles in the room when feeling uneasy. ✅ Handling He is very perceptive and understands people well. ✅ Escape Tendency If a door is left open, he may try to go outside. Careful door management is important. ✅ Prey Drive Very low. ✅ Resource Guarding He tends to guard food or treats a little, but he does not bite or act aggressively. He simply tries to eat quickly. ✅ Crate He does not particularly enjoy being in a crate, but he can tolerate it when necessary. ✅ Barking Rarely barks. ✅ Separation Anxiety When left alone, he may walk in circles for about 20–30 minutes before eventually calming down and falling asleep. 💔 Rescue Story Doongdoong was rescued from a rural shelter where the rates of natural death and euthanasia were very high. At the time of rescue, his fur was severely matted and he was extremely underweight. He loved people so much despite his difficult situation, and that is why he was rescued.
