My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!A volunteer writes: Want to feel like you're walking around town with an A-list celebrity every day? Allow us to introduce you to Big Jim! This hunky nugget was dropped off with no information at a police station, and has made it his mission to befriend every single person in his path since. When police transported him to the shelter, he didn't seem one bit fazed by this new adventure: Wiggly and loose, he greeted staff with a wagging tail, jumping up for attention, giving kisses, and even rolling over for belly rubs.He's been a big ham, enjoying yard time with (you guessed it) all of his new best friends, flopping around on his back like it's his job. During play group, he greeted another dog at the gate with a loose and wiggly body and wagging tail. On walks around the shelter, Big Jim makes many neighborhood fans, and it's not hard to see why. His happy trot, chunky physique, and impeccable underbite speak for themselves. He greets fellow volunteers like the whole world exists just to give him attention - and we don't think he's wrong! This silly guy is available to beginner homes without children under 5 and waiting to meet you at Queens ACC. (Truly, we guarantee he can't wait to meet you.)
