I was rescued from a municipal shelter when time was running out, but kind people gave me a chance to keep dreaming. Now I'm ready to leave my past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and a family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm a sweet and gentle pup who loves making new friends. I’m usually friendly with people I meet for the first time, and I have a calm, easygoing personality that makes it easy to enjoy spending time with me. I can be a little sensitive when something feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable. When that happens, my first instinct is usually to move away rather than confront the situation. I’m looking for kind, understanding people who will help me build confidence at my own pace and show me that the world can be a safe place. If you’re searching for a lovely, well-mannered companion with a gentle heart and lots of potential, I’d love the chance to meet you. With a little patience, love, and encouragement, I’m ready to become a loyal and wonderful member of the family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm a friendly and affectionate pup who loves people! Not only do I enjoy spending time with my favorite humans, but I'm also happy to meet new people. I'll often come right up to say hello, lean in for pets, and happily accept affection. I'm comfortable being picked up with an arm under my belly, although I can be a bit nervous about it and may need some reassurance. One of my special talents is how well I get along with children. I'm especially gentle and accepting with kids under 13 years old, making me a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving and patient dog. · With Dogs: I’m polite and friendly when meeting other dogs. I like to say hello and check them out, but I’m not usually interested in roughhousing or playtime. I’m more of a "friendly acquaintance" than a "best friend at the dog park" kind of pup! · With Cats: When I see cats, I tend to stay focused on my people rather than paying much attention to them.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting outside for walks and adventures. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm usually happy to relax quietly and recharge. When we're out on walks, I can get a little excited about exploring and may pull toward the places I'd like to go. With consistent guidance and practice, I'm sure I can continue improving my leash manners.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm an easygoing pup with good manners around food and don't feel the need to guard my meals from people or other dogs. I'm a pretty quiet companion and rarely bark. When it's time to rest, I settle nicely in a kennel or crate I'm flexible with my potty routine—I can use both indoor pee pads and go potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I tend to feel most comfortable around women.
