Shilo

My story

*Shilo can climb a 4 ft fence/ baby gate, she is not trying to get away, she is just trying to get to her people.* Shilo is a female. Apx 1 year young, and 14 pounds but a tad thin and will need to gain a little weight. She is just built tall and slender but I think 16 -17 pounds would be more ideal for her. She came to us from our local shelter and when she first got here she was very very shy, reserved and a bit shut down. By day two she started to come out of her shell, she loves other dogs, she is always smiling and has a wiggly tail wag. She is very very gentle and we even have her with the smaller dogs and a couple senior dogs. Although she seems very shy, timid and gentle at first because she is so young I do think when she is used to her home and she knows she is safe she will become more playful and rambunctious. A little girl came to the rescue with her parents to adopt a different dog and Shilo lit up, she adored the little girl (6 yr old). Shilo would do great with kids . She is great with all animals. So far she has no quirks that we can tell. She just needs some socializing and confidence building on her end. She loves soft pets and people doting on her. She is a very gentle loving soul, she never jumps on people and I have yet to hear her bark. She just walks around the rescue with a big smile like she thinks this is the greatest place on earth, little does she know what is ahead 🙂 little does she know that she is up for adoption and hopefully very soon she will have a family of her own.
