Griffin

My story

Griffin is a 2.5-year-old dog who has been a loved member of our family since he was a puppy. He is affectionate, loyal, intelligent, and loves being close to his people. Rehoming him is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make.Unfortunately, Griffin has developed significant behavioral challenges over time. He struggles with anxiety, loud noises, and high-stimulation environments. He has attacked our smaller dog and recently bit my husband. Because of these incidents, we can no longer safely manage him in our household.We are expecting a baby very soon, and with a newborn entering the home, we do not feel we can provide the environment Griffin needs while ensuring everyone’s safety.We are seeking an experienced, adult-only home willing to work with a dog who has behavioral needs and can provide the structure, consistency, and understanding he deserves. Due to safety concerns, euthanasia may become our only option if we cannot find placement soon.
