Boris story began on one of the hottest days of July, abandoned and alone on the side of a busy four-lane highway in Korea. Cars rushed past as she stood frightened and unsure, surrounded by danger with nowhere safe to go. Despite the chaos around her, Bori quietly waited, as if hoping someone would notice her and stop. When rescuers learned about her situation, they knew they couldnt leave her there another moment. The highway was far too dangerous, and the heat was unbearable. They stepped in immediately, carefully bringing Bori to safety and giving her the chance she so desperately deserved. Since her rescue, Bori has shown just how resilient and loving she truly is. Behind her gentle eyes is a dog who survived abandonment but never lost her kind spirit. Now, shes ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a forever family who will never let her feel alone again.Bori is a Jindo/Retriever mix with a soft yellow coat, gentle eyes, and the sweetest personality. Shes the perfect medium-large companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend who enjoys both adventure and quiet companionship.Boris journey hasnt always been easy, but despite everything, she has remained incredibly loving and trusting. She is wonderful with women, kind with children, and friendly with other dogs. While she can be a little shy around older men at first, all she really needs is patience and kindness to help her feel safe. Once she warms up, her affectionate and gentle nature shines through. This lovely girl has a medium-to-high energy level and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, outdoor time, and giving her the exercise she needs to stay happy and fulfilled. She walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, rarely barks, and has no signs of food aggression. She is house trained and currently working on her crate training like a champ.Bori would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. While she likes other dogs, she does not require a canine companion and would be just as happy soaking up all the love from her humans. Apartment living would not be ideal for her active nature. One of the most special things about Bori is how quietly loving she is. She isnt demanding or overly needy she simply wants to be near her people, included in daily life, and finally given the stability every dog deserves. After surviving life in Korea, Bori is ready for her next chapter: soft beds, long walks, warm hearts, and a forever family to call her own.
