My story

Happy is a darling boy! So full of life with lots of love to give. He is coming into rescue due to his aging parents not being able to give him the time and attention that he deserves. He is up to date on vaccines and had a recent dental cleaning. He’s happy & healthy—just needing a forever and ever family to love & adore him. If you’re looking for a little lap dog Happy just might be your guy. He loves his walks but, his family says he needs a little redirection, as he gets very excited to see everyone when he’s out and about. But, he’s very food motivated so it shouldn’t be too hard to redirect and distract him. We will help you learn this kind and effective technique. No punishment is necessary or allowed with the dogs in our rescue. So, if you’re short on patience please work through that with a licensed therapist—no dog should suffer because of a humans inability to self regulate.
