My story

Hi, I’m Canela! I’m a 1.5-year-old Presa Canario/GSD mix, and after raising my puppies, I’m finally ready to be the center of someone’s world. I’m a total velcro dog who loves being close to my peopl whether that means curling up beside you, climbing into your lap, or gently reminding you that it’s time for more pets. I’m loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. I also have a playful, puppy-like side and need an active home that can keep up with me. Long walks, outdoor adventures, lounging in the sunshine, and chewing on a good bone are some of my favorite things!I’m looking for an adult-only home that can provide structure, consistency, and understanding as I continue to work on my emotional regulation skills. I can get excited when visitors come over and may jump, bark, or become overwhelmed, so a quiet home with a yard is the best fit for me. I’m also selective about my dog friends and do best with socially appropriate dogs who respect my space. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your biggest fan, I might just be the perfect match.
