My story

Abrams story began on the quiet trails of Inwangsan Mountain in Seoul, where he lived alongside his inseparable companion, Isaac. The two were known to local residents as gentle, friendly dogs who greeted hikers with soft eyes and wagging tails. They were never aggressiveonly kind souls navigating life together outdoors. One day, their lives changed. After being noticed by a passerby and shared online, Abram and Isaac briefly captured the attention of many. But attention can fade quickly. Before long, they were reported, captured, and taken to a municipal shelter where time is limited and outcomes are uncertain. Though many people saw their story, no one stepped forward to take responsibility for them. As the spotlight dimmed, their future grew more fragileuntil DoReMi Rescue intervened. Refusing to let them become forgotten, the rescue brought Abram and Isaac to safety, giving them the second chance they deserved. From the beginning, Abram stood outnot just for his larger size, but for his steady, reassuring presence. At first, it seemed possible he might be Isaacs father. While that may not be the case, whats undeniable is the role Abram plays: a protector, a guide, and a constant source of comfort for his smaller companion. Abram is a deeply people-oriented dog. He is affectionate, gentle, and enjoys human touch. He adjusts well to both men and women and forms loyal bonds with those he trusts. Theres a quiet warmth about himhe doesnt demand attention, but he welcomes it with a calm, open heart. Though he carries himself with a bit more maturity than Isaac, Abram is still young and enjoys playtime with dog friends. His energy level is balancedhes not overly active, but he thrives with regular walks and opportunities to play. He would do best in a home that can offer both activity and relaxation. Abram is generally social with other dogs, especially those who are respectful and well-mannered. He prefers to avoid conflict and does not seek trouble, but he may become uncomfortable if another dog is overly pushy or persistent. One of Abrams most touching qualities is the way he cares for Isaac. When Isaac feels unsure, Abram stays close, watching over him with quiet attentiveness. Their bond is strong and deeply rooted, and they are happiest when they are together. For Abram, family isnt just about humansit includes Isaac, too. Because of his size and personality, Abram would likely thrive in a home with a yard where he has space to move comfortably and relax. More than anything, he needs a family that will see him not as a passing story, but as a lifelong companion. Abram is no longer the forgotten dog from a mountain trail. He is safe, loved, and waitingfor someone who will recognize the steady, loyal heart he has always had. He has already proven how deeply he can care. Now he just needs someone to care for him in return.
