My story

Friendly, Affectionate and CalmBIO: - Vizsla Mix, 4 years old, Male (neutered)- Medium-sized (50 lbs) and Medium-energy- Milo was previously adopted from EHS but returned after becoming overly protective of one family member. He is now working on this behaviour with his foster family and making great progress- He is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinationsABOUT MILO: - His greetings are friendly, generally he loves people a lot and is affectionate- He is food motivated and responds well to obedience cues and interaction with people, making him a great candidate for positive reinforcement training- Milo walks well on leash; he shows some reactivity to other dogs and prey drive to small critters - his Foster family is working on this with him and he is showing improvement- He has not shown any destructive behaviour when left alone in the houseMilo loves belly rubs and leaning against you for more petsMILO’S IDEAL HOME:- Milo makes a great walking companion and would do well with a family that likes to stay active- He would do well in a calm, not too busy home to continue to build his confidence and let his true affectionate and gentle nature shine- We are not recommending him for a home with children or other pets- Milo can be vocal so we are not recommending a home with shared walls- He is looking for a fresh start with a family that can appreciate his gentle, loyal nature.If you have any questions about Milo contact his Adoption Coordinator at: dog.adoption.coordinator.2@etobicokehumanesociety.com
