My story

Hi, I’m Dexter!I love days filled with playing fetch (I’m a master!) and yummy treats. I`ve got tons of energy and I`m always ready for a game—I’m not your classic couch-potato small dog! I find comfort in the company of women, who I warm up to most quickly. I can be cautious around men, but with some patience, I can learn to trust more. I do like to bark when I see action happening—people or dogs—so I would really benefit from joining a home where my new human(s) can be proactive about building positive associations with me.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers could be okay, but no young children.OTHER DOGS: I may play with another dog, but I’m also happy to play fetch on my own if the other dog is lower energy.CATS: Potentially, with a cat confident around dogs.
