My story

DOB: Mar 23, 2026 Ella is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations in the Waterloo Region. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. I’m a sweet, gentle tortoiseshell girl with a quiet charm and a thoughtful nature. While my sister is often the first to rush over and say hello, I prefer to take my time and make sure everything feels safe before I jump in. I may seem a little shy at first, but don't worry—my curiosity is never far behind! Before long, you'll find me nearby, watching, investigating, and deciding if you're someone I'd like to be friends with. Once I feel comfortable, my affectionate side begins to shine. I enjoy gentle pets and attention on my terms, and if I'm feeling especially cozy, I may even curl up in your lap for a cuddle. There's something special about earning the trust of a cat like me—I form my bonds slowly, but they are genuine and full of love. I also have a playful side! I love chasing balls, batting spring toys across the floor, and joining in on a fun play session. I would do best in a home with one my siblings, Maggie or Oscar or a home with another young, friendly and playful kitty! After all that excitement, you'll often find me curled up somewhere comfortable, enjoying a well-earned nap. I'm also very proud of my beautiful tortie coat and spend plenty of time keeping it looking its best with my excellent grooming skills. I'm looking for a patient, loving family who will appreciate my gentle spirit and let me blossom at my own pace. In return, I'll reward your kindness with sweet companionship, quiet affection, and the joy of watching me grow more confident every day.
