My story

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a sweet, gentle mixed-breed girl weighing in at a perfect 37 pounds—just the right size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between. With her soft coat, soulful eyes, and easygoing personality, it's hard not to fall in love with her. Sadie is affectionate, loyal, and friendly, though she can be a little shy when meeting new people. Give her a little time and patience, and you'll quickly discover what a loving companion she is. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet nature shines through. She gets along well with other dogs and was just beginning to enjoy playful interactions with her friend Abby before Abby found her forever home. Sadie would likely enjoy having a canine companion, but she'd also be happy soaking up attention from her people. This quiet, well-mannered girl is house-trained, has a calm disposition, and is doing great walking on a leash. She's the kind of dog who is content to be by your side, whether you're taking a stroll around the neighborhood or relaxing at home. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal best friend with a heart full of love, Sadie may be the perfect match for you. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
