QUICK FACTS Name: Waffle Age: 4 months old Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Shiba mix Color: Brown, Black Weight: 4kg / 9lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. Through no fault of my own, my time was running out and my future was uncertain. Thankfully, rescuers saw something special in me and stepped in just in time. Because of their kindness, I was given a second chance at life and the opportunity to find the loving family I have always deserved. Now, I'm safe, cared for, and looking forward to a bright future filled with love, happiness, and a forever home to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I guarantee you'll fall in love with me the moment you meet me! I'm a super adorable, pretty, and sweet girl with a loving personality that wins people over wherever I go. I absolutely love people and enjoy being close to my humans. Even when I'm busy playing with my dog friends, I'll often run over to the staff and volunteers for affection, cuddles, and attention. I'm friendly with both people and dogs and truly enjoy being part of the fun. I also have a huge appetite and absolutely love food! Mealtime is one of my favorite parts of the day, and I can get so excited that I bark with anticipation while waiting for my delicious meal. Whether I join a family with dog siblings or become the center of attention as an only dog, I'm adaptable and ready to fit right in. With my friendly nature, affectionate personality, and joyful spirit, I'm ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and happiness to my forever home.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm super friendly with people and tend to greet everyone like they're already my friend! I love meeting new people and am always happy to receive attention, affection, and pets. I'm very comfortable around humans and allow myself to be picked up with ease. In fact, I can be so trusting and affectionate that I'll even show my belly the first time we meet. My loving, outgoing personality makes it easy for me to win hearts wherever I go. · With Dogs: I'm very friendly with my dog friends and love meeting new dogs. Playing with my friends is one of my favorite things to do, and you'll often find me running around and having fun during playtime. I especially enjoy spending time with my siblings and other dog friends. My social, playful nature helps me make friends easily, and I truly enjoy having other dogs to share adventures, games, and happy moments with. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash manners and building confidence as I explore the world around me. New experiences can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but I'm improving every day and becoming more comfortable with unfamiliar sights, sounds, and environments. I don't guard my food from people, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs come too close during mealtimes. I'm generally a quiet girl, but I may bark when I want attention or have something to say. Once I feel heard, I settle down quickly. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and relax when it's time to unwind. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors. With continued patience, guidance, and positive experiences, I'll continue growing into a confident, happy, and well-rounded companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
