My story

Meet Smidgen! Smidgen may be tiny in name, but her personality is anything but small! This outgoing little pup loves being the center of attention and is always ready to make new friends. Whether she's greeting visitors, following you around the house, or soaking up belly rubs, Smidgen thrives on love and companionship. Her mom is a 10-pound terrier, and while dad remains a mystery, we suspect there may have been a dachshund in the family tree. Smidgen has an adorably long body and shortish legs that only add to her charm. Smidgen is a happy, affectionate puppy who enjoys playtime, cuddles, and being included in whatever you're doing. She would love a family that will give her plenty of attention and help her continue growing into the wonderful companion she's already becoming. If you're looking for a fun-loving, social little pup with a unique look and a heart full of love, Smidgen might be the perfect addition to your family! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
