My story

Clementina's story began on a stretch of road in Mexico where things could have ended in an instant. She stood there, frozen in the middle of danger-cars rushing past, noise all around her, no one slowing down. Fear had taken over her small body, keeping her stuck in the worst possible place. One more second, one more passing vehicle, and her story might have ended before anyone even knew her name. But then someone stopped. They didn't just drive by. They pulled over, putting themselves between her and the speeding cars. They called out to her-not knowing if she would run, not knowing if she would trust them. She was scared, unsure, her world filled with confusion and noise... but somehow, she chose to come. In that moment, everything changed. What could have been a tragedy became the beginning of a second chance. Now, Clementina is no longer a frightened soul standing alone on a dangerous road. She is safe. She is warm. She is resting in a foster home where she can finally breathe, where the noise has been replaced with kindness, and where fear is slowly turning into trust. She doesn't have to fight to survive anymore. She just has to wait-for the right person to see her, to understand her journey, and to give her the forever home she deserves.
