My story

Meet Bert, also known as "Big Brain on Bert." And trust us, the nickname is earned. At just 7 weeks old, Bert figured out the doggy door within his first hour of seeing it. Thanks to his impressive brainpower, he's fully potty trained and uses the doggy door like a pro. Not only that, he loves food, which will make training Bert a breeze. Bert is everything you could want in a puppy. He loves every person and dog he meets and approaches life with equal parts confidence, curiosity, and charm. He's the perfect balance of playmate and cuddle buddy. Whether you're looking for a couch companion for an afternoon nap or a partner for a toy-filled play session, Bert is ready to clock in. One of Bert's more entertaining qualities is his way of playing. For reasons known only to Bert, he occasionally resembles a cat trapped in a puppy's body. It's adorable, slightly confusing, and endlessly entertaining. Bert is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready to find his forever family. More than anything, Bert wants someone to love and someone to call his very best friend. His foster family adores him and wants to find the perfect home where he can continue being the smart, sweet, goofy little guy he was born to be.
