Murphy

My story

Murphy is a smart, affectionate, high-energy young dog who loves having a job to do. He has a solid foundation in obedience, walks beautifully on a leash, and genuinely enjoys training and learning new things. He even began search and rescue training, where he showed enthusiasm and intelligence, but his prey drive ultimately made that type of work the wrong fit. Murphy would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys hiking, training, or other adventures. Because of his strong prey drive, he cannot live with cats, small dogs, or other small animals. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I want Murphy to have the life he deserves. I'm committed to finding him a loving, forever home with someone who will appreciate his potential, continue his training, and make him part of the family.
