My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Koongi Age: 1 year and a half Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Sabsal mix Color: Grey Weight: 20kg / 44lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was found wandering the streets all by myself, unsure of where to go or where I belonged. Thankfully, kind-hearted people noticed me and reached out with helping hands. Because of their compassion, I was brought to the care facility where I've been given a second chance at life. Now I'm safe, well cared for, and patiently waiting for the day my forever family finds me. I can't wait to leave my past behind and begin a new chapter filled with love, adventures, and a place to finally call home.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm known for being incredibly gentle and well-mannered, especially for such a young dog. Even when other dogs are being pushy or rude, I stay calm, patient, and respectful. The staff and volunteers often compliment my sweet temperament and mature personality. When I was found roaming the streets, I wasn't in good health. Thanks to the love and care I've received, I've made a wonderful recovery, and my happy, friendly personality is finally shining through. I'm a smart boy who loves meeting people and continues to blossom every day. If you've always loved the scruffy Terrier look, I might be your perfect match! I'm most likely a Korean Sapsal (Sapsaree) mix, one of Korea's national breeds, known for being gentle, loyal, intelligent, and well-mannered. With my adorable shaggy coat, kind eyes, and loving personality, I'm sure to steal your heart.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With PeopleI'm friendly with people and enjoy meeting new friends! I love receiving pets and affection, and while I may need a little time to warm up, it doesn't take me long to feel comfortable. Once I do, I happily accept cuddles and allow myself to be picked up. With a little patience in the beginning, you'll quickly discover my sweet and affectionate personality. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I'm not the type to jump straight into play. I prefer to take my time, do my own thing, and get to know other dogs first. Once I find a friend with a similar energy level, I'm happy to spend time together. I'm an overall calm, gentle boy who gets along well with my canine companions and prefers peaceful interactions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler's lead nicely, making me a pleasant walking companion. I don't guard my food from people or other dogs and have wonderful manners around mealtimes. I'm a very quiet boy who rarely barks. I'm still learning to feel completely comfortable settling in my kennel, but I'm making steady progress every day. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors. Like many dogs, I may mark when I'm adjusting to a new environment, but this typically improves as I settle into a routine.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
