Draco Malfoy (20260630-02)

My story

Draco Malfoy has been a delight to foster - one of the best temperaments and attitudes I have seen. He knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. He loves to sun bathe or put his paws in the water. He is amazing with kids, they are his favorite. Draco Malfoy would be an awesome family dog for someone with children, or an active retired couple with maybe some grandkids to play with. The first day I had him I didn't hear him bark until we were all playing and he was excited and talking bark! He loves cuddles and if he could sit in your lap all day he would! Draco Malfoy was found as a stray and was a long stay at Lowndes county animal shelter. He was there at least 2 months before we were able to pull him. He went straight to Hamilton hounds prison program in Georgia where he did great and loved everyone! He loves attention. He has been in foster about a month and the foster has said he is the best foster dog she has ever had! Good with adults: yes Good with kids: yes, loves kids!! Would definitely recommend a home with kids Good with other dogs: yes Good with cats: no House trained: yes Crate trained: yes Energy level: moderate Can be handled/ touched: yes Barker: only to talk to you when playing Flight risk: no; however, all dogs should be considered flight risks in new environments Food aggressive: no Walks well on a leash: pulls some but not a lot Leash reactive to people or dogs: no Rides well in a car: yes Destructive: no, but loves toys and stuffed animals Needs a home with a yard: ideally yes Needs a home with another dog: either way is fine Can live in an apartment: potentially in the right family Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
