Archie

My story

Archie is about 5 years old. We adopted him from the local shelter where we were told he was surrendered by the original owners. We’re unaware of the reasons for his surrender but it’s assumed he lived in the house since he was a puppy.We brought him into a home with two other Akitas. He does get along with one, but the other doesn’t seem to like him much which is why we need to find him a new home. Archie has an interesting personality. He loves treats and belly rubs. He has been super gentle with all the humans he regularly interacts with and loves to play tag or get the zoomies once he’s comfortable. He is very curious and has the ability to open cabinets and doors with his mouth. We highly recommend he be leashed or supervised at all times in the yard until he gets comfortable and feels secure in his new home. He is very clever and protective of his owners, a wonderful and loyal dog that deserves a good home with a forever family.
