QUICK FACTS Name: Jinsol Age: About 3 Years Old (Born on 09/07/2023) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was found after my sibling and I were left behind at a small rural property in December 2023. Thankfully, kind people reported us, and we were rescued before anything worse could happen. Thanks to the love and care we've received, I'm now ready to leave the past behind and find a forever family to begin a wonderful new chapter together.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Jinsol! I'm a small, adorable dog with a gentle heart and a sweet personality. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly once I realize you're kind. Before long, I'll be happily accepting cuddles, enjoying gentle pets, and staying close to my favorite people. I get along very well with other dogs, and once I've made a few friends, my playful, goofy side starts to shine. There are even a few special buddies who bring out my happiest, silliest self, and I love playing with them whenever I get the chance. Beneath my slightly cautious first impression is a loving, affectionate companion who's ready to blossom with just a little patience. If you're looking for a sweet best friend who will reward your kindness with endless love and adorable charm, I'd love to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I'm happy to accept treats from new friends and start building trust. I may need a little extra time before I'm ready for gentle pets, but once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. When we've become friends, I'll happily roll over and show you my belly—a special sign that I trust you completely. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up, making it easy to care for and cuddle me. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I get along well with dogs of all sizes—whether they're bigger than me, about my size, or even smaller.   · With Cats: I have experience living in the same home as a cat for about a year, and we coexisted well. Because of that, I'm already familiar with sharing my home with a cat companion.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going for walks. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I'm still gaining confidence on walks, and while I may pull on the leash a little when I'm excited, I naturally enjoy staying close to my person. Because I don't have a lot of walking experience yet, unfamiliar or scary things can make me freeze or crouch down, and busy roads with lots of traffic can feel overwhelming. I feel much more comfortable exploring quiet, peaceful places, and with patience and positive encouragement, I'm continuing to grow into a more confident walking companion every day.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. I'm a quiet companion who rarely barks. I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel Car rides can be a little scary for me, so I need a little help being lifted into the car. Once I'm settled inside, I do much better. I generally prefer doing my business outside during my walks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
