Delta

My story

Delta is a 3½-year-old spayed German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix looking for an experienced home where she can be the only pet. She is house-trained, crate trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She knows basic commands, responds well to verbal direction, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, loves playing fetch, and settles quietly in the house. She'll happily sleep wherever you tell her to. While shy with new people, she quickly becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being close to her person—but isn't a constant licker. Delta has a history of resource guarding with other dogs and should not live with other pets. She has no known history of aggression toward people. We are fostering her after she was abandoned and are committed to finding her the right forever home. We already have a small dog in Washington, so we can't safely keep her ourselves, but we'll gladly help with transport for the right placement.
