My story

DOB: Sept 18, 2023 Meow! I'm Bud! I have been called a bit spicy, but the truth is I just need time to feel safe. Once I trust you, I'm a playful, loyal companion with plenty of personality. My favorite pastime is hunting toys! Wand toys, crinkle balls, silvervine sticks, crinkle fish, and anything with feathers bring out my inner acrobat. When playtime is over, you'll find me relaxing on my cardboard scratching post or watching the world from a sunny windowsill. I'm a handsome guy who keeps himself impeccably groomed, so I'm not a fan of brushes. I also don't enjoy being picked up, and I'm still learning that hands can be nice. My foster mom says I've made great progress, I now accept pets on my terms and will usually give a gentle paw tap when I've had enough. I'm working hard on my manners and learning not to nip. I'm looking for a patient, cat-savvy home that understands my boundaries. Because of this, I'd do best in an adult-only home, or one with older, respectful children. I also prefer to be your one and only pet. Oh, and before you ask... I prefer an extra-tall litter box with clay litter, and I don't see the appeal of cat beds or cat carriers. A sunny windowsill and a comfy spot beside my favorite human are all I need. When I love you, I really love you. I'll greet you at the door, happily share the couch with you, and become a devoted companion. I may not be a lap cat, but if you earn my trust, you'll have a friend for life. Due to a history of crystals, I must remain exclusively on a Urinary diet to keep her healthy and happy. I'm currently eating Hills C/D. I also need a water fountain to maintain my water intake and stay healthy.
