Zack

My story

We have a very special new case for a small dog who became homeless after his owner passed away. We are looking to find a home for him where he will be loved and cherished like he was in his past home. Here is his background story as told by his rescuer: “Our neighbor Richard, a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, was fortunate to have caring neighbors, who have supported him over the years. We were never too far to lend a hand—helping lift him after falls, calling paramedics, taking him to the VA for treatment, and making sure he and his beloved dog, Zack, were never alone. Zack was Richards constant companion and best friend, always by his side through every challenge. When Richards health declined and was hospitalized, we helped care for Zack. When he was moved to a rehabilitation center and later placed on hospice, we continued caring for him. In Richards final days, we brought Zack to be by his side one last time. Zack stayed with Richard until the moment he passed away, and now Zack is grieving the loss of the person he loved most.” He is approximately 10 years. He is in very good condition. All of his medical work is complete. He is a loving and affectionate little guy, good with all people, kids, and other dogs.
