My story

Roscoe's journey to rescue was one of pure chance. During a trip to a remote area north of Dauphin, Manitoba to rescue other dogs an unexpected message came through despite there being virtually no cell service in the community. The message was about a dog with an injured leg who needed help. That dog was Roscoe. When Roscoe was found, he had an injured leg and no one to call his own. Although he belonged to no one, three different households had been feeding and caring for him for sometime. With every crate in the transport van already full, Roscoe earned the coveted passenger seat for the trip south. After receiving veterinary care, he quickly captured the hearts of everyone who met him. Roscoe is a gentle soul with a calm, quiet presence that makes him an absolute joy to be around. He loves people of all ages, including children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He is respectful, easygoing, and never seeks attention in a demanding way. Whether he's meeting new friends or relaxing at home, Roscoe takes everything in stride. This handsome boy walks beautifully on leash, despite not having much training. He enjoys car rides, and is happiest simply spending time with his people. He has the kind of steady, loving temperament that makes an exceptional companion and family pet. Roscoe is ready to leave his days of fending for himself behind to become a cherished member of a family who will love him as much as he deserves.
