My story

I acquired my pet from my grandmother and grandfather, who have since passed away. He is about seven years old and is a Black Mouth Cur. He is a happy, cuddly, and affectionate dog who is very friendly toward strangers and loves being around people. I am looking for a new home where he will have a secure backyard to run, play, and satisfy his natural hunting instincts. He would do best as the only pet in the household, and a family with children would be ideal. Because of his breed, he needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation, including interactive puzzle toys and at least two hours of walks, exercise, or outdoor activities each day. He would also benefit from continued training. This decision has not been easy, and my biggest priority is finding him a loving home where he can continue to thrive. I want him to be with someone who understands his breed, can provide him with the attention and active lifestyle he needs, and will love and care for him for the rest of his life.
