🐾 Meet Sunny 🐾 📍 Current Location: South Korea ❤️ Age: Approximately 3 years old ❤️ Gender: Male ❤️ Weight: 19 kg (42 lbs) ❤️ Breed: Jindo × Retriever Mix (estimated) ❤️ Health: Neutered and overall healthy 🐶 Personality & Behavior 💖 People-friendly – Gentle and kind. He is shy at first but friendly with people and has never shown aggression. He builds trust gradually when given time and patience. 💖 Kid-friendly – Calm, gentle children are fine. He may be startled by loud or energetic children but adjusts with time. 💖 Dog-friendly – Very social with other dogs and loves to run and play. He has never shown aggression toward other dogs. 💖 Cat-friendly – Shows little to no interest in cats. ✅ Toilet-trained: Prefers outdoor potty. In foster care, he uses pee pads for urination but prefers to poop outside. ✅ Leash manners: Walks politely without pulling and enjoys walks, but unfamiliar places and loud noises can make him nervous. ✅ Energy level: 4–5 out of 5. He enjoys playing with other dogs and settles down well after exercise. ✅ Handling: Loves gentle affection once he trusts you. He prefers slow introductions with new people but eventually enjoys being touched all over. ✅ Escape instinct: Yes. If frightened by loud noises or unfamiliar situations, he may try to run away. A secure leash and careful supervision are recommended. ✅ Prey drive: Low. He has shown little interest in cats during walks. ✅ Guarding tendency: None observed. ✅ Crate trained: Comfortable resting quietly in his kennel after exercise. ✅ Barking: May bark to seek attention or express his needs. ✅ Separation anxiety: None observed. 💔 Rescue Story Sunny was rescued from euthanasia by a rescue organization. After being placed in a foster home, he experienced training methods that were not suitable for his sensitive personality, causing him to shut down emotionally. He later entered a professional training center, where patient, positive guidance helped him regain his confidence. Sunny is a gentle, sensitive dog who needs a patient family willing to let him adjust at his own pace.
