Meet Telerin! Male | 6 Years Old | 19 lbs | Chihuahua Mix Location: Fostered in Toronto Best Suited For: Houses, apartments, or condos (City life approved!) Telerin flew in from Mexico and settled into his Toronto foster home as if he’d been there all along. This cool, calm, and collected boy is here to redeem the Chihuahua reputation! Quiet, well-mannered, and super sweet, he has fully embraced downtown city living. Why You’ll Love Him: * Extremely Gentle & Sweet: He is incredibly gentle with both humans and other dogs, showering everyone he meets with affection. * The Perfect Fit: He is highly adaptable and would do equally well as the pampered only dog in the home, or happily sharing his space with other pets! * The Ultimate Velcro Dog: He’s happiest right by your side, whether he's supervising your day, snuggling in bed, or flipping over for belly rubs. * Social Butterfly: He adores people and is a massive hit at soccer watch parties, happily nap-hopping from lap to lap. * Easygoing & Polite: He is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and takes handling (like paw wiping and harness fitting) completely in stride. Training & Routine: Telerin settles down quickly after a brief moment of whimpering when left alone. He’s still learning his name and recall, but since he is highly treat-motivated and eager to please, positive reinforcement training will be a breeze. While he prefers to graze on his kibble throughout the day, he will use his irresistible puppy eyes to beg for human food—his future family will just need to stay strong to help him maintain his handsome figure!
