My story

Hi. I'm Denali. Please Look At Me.Okay so here's the thing — I see you over there, and I just want you to know that I am available for pets, cuddles, and general adoration at any time. Just putting that out there.I'm Denali. Ten months old, 14 pounds of apricot fluff, and honestly? A lot is happening in this world and I find it helpful to process it while sitting very close to a person I trust. That person could be you. I'm open to it.My mom is a Yorkshire Terrier, and my dad is... we're not totally sure. Terrier? Schnauzer? A mystery wrapped in good genes, clearly. My brother Drifter and I came to rescue together when our first family couldn't keep us, and I won't lie — it was a lot of change. I'm the kind of guy who takes a minute to assess a new situation before diving in. I like to know what's going on. I like to feel safe. And once I do? I am YOUR dog.Here's where I'm at: I'm working on potty training (making real progress, thank you), I'm figuring out this whole leash thing (it's a work in progress), and I sleep great in my crate. I love people, I love other dogs, and I am genuinely happy and curious about the world — I just like to take it in at my own pace.What I need from you: a yard, another dog to show me the ropes, and someone who knows that I'm still very much a puppy figuring it all out. My first home didn't really get a chance to train me, so I'm starting fresh. That means I need patience, consistency, and someone who's excited to be part of my glow-up.I'm going to be someone's absolute best friend.
