My story

Hela is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate jindo mix with a calm, easy going personality. She is more than ok to be left alone when need, happy to share with any doggy siblings she may end up with, and zero tendency toward destructive behaviours. She loves sleeping close to her people, often resting her head on your arm or curling up against you. Belly rubs are her favorite, and if you stop petting her, she'll gently place her paw on you to ask for more. She is affectionate without being demanding, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys treats without being possessive, and has beautiful leash manners. While she can be shy with new people and takes time to build trust, once she feels at home she becomes an incredibly loving, loyal companion. She is frightened by bicycles or motorcycles that suddenly approach during walks and doesn't seem to enjoy playing in the water, but otherwise she adapts very well and is an easy dog to care for. Good with women: yes, she tends to feel most comfortable with women at first Good with men: yes, she will become equally affectionate with men she knows well. Good with kids: Yes, she is curious and gentle with children, showing no aggression or barking. She greets them the same way she greets adults by calmly sniffing them. Good with dogs: Yes, She is very social, polite, and has excellent dog manners. She happily greets other dogs, allows them to sniff her, and enjoys sniffing them in return. She does not growl, bark, or become jealous around other dogs. Good with cats: Unknown. She has not been introduced to cats. House trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes. Energy level: medium - Generally calm indoors, but very playful and energetic when excited or during playtime. She loves inviting her people to play by wagging her tail and zooming around. Barker: no Flight risk: no; however, all dogs should be considered flight risks in new environments Food aggressive: No. She is extremely gentle around food and treats. You can take treats away from her, and she simply watches without reacting. Walks on leash: yes, Excellent on leash. Rides well in car: Yes. She rides very well in the car and does not get carsick on trips. She calmly curls up on the floor in front of the passenger seat. Destructive: No Needs a home with a yard: Not required, but she would certainly enjoy a secure yard to play in. Needs a home with another dog: No. Can live in an apartment: Yes. She is quiet, calm indoors, has no separation anxiety, and has excellent house manners.
