My story

When Valerie first arrived at her foster home, she was a tiny, spitting ball of defense who was definitely not interested in pets. But love, patience, and some highly effective bribery with treats have worked their magic. Today, she has officially decided that being petted is pretty wonderful! Valerie is still building up her courage, and she is looking for a patient adopter who will let her blossom at her own pace. Here is her quick "user manual" to win her over. Bribes with Purr Pops and Delectables, talking with her so she knows what to expect and predictable movements. Her favorite pastimes are having lively "chats" with her feathered friends outside and loves a high-energy game of tag with her foster siblings. Valerie would do best in a quiet, patient household with someone who understands that confidence takes time. Because she loves feline company and thrives on playtime, she would do best in a home with another friendly cat to play chase with and help show her the ropes.
