My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Champ — 2.5-Year-Old Boston Terrier, Full-Time Snuggler, Part-Time Comedian  Champ is a very sweet, high-energy Boston Terrier with a great personality who is also a world class cuddler. He's the kind of dog who will entertain you endlessly with his antics — think stand-up comedian, if the comedian also wanted belly rubs and to curl up together after every set.  A Growth Story: Through Champ’s dedicated fosters and his terrific trainer, he's learned to channel his excitement for life and his manners. He’s been learning fast and his fosters are so proud of his progress. He's mastered the commands that keep him happy, safe, and irresistibly lovable to everyone who knows him. Social Skills: Champ can be good with dogs after structured, slow introductions — he has preferred to make new friends on his own terms (a discerning social calendar, if you will) but has proven he can be buddies with dogs. He's great with adults and does well with older, considerate kids, but younger children aren't recommended yet due to his pup-like energy. Talents & Certifications:  Crate Trained Superstar  Doggy Door black belt  Toy connoisseur with a discerning palate for squeaky things and showing them off for you Cuddle Credentials: Belly rubs and snuggles are not just enjoyed, they're requested, expected, and celebrated. Certified professional buddy to curl up with and to carry around— it's basically his second job and he is an excellent employee. Personality: Goofy, adorable, smart and endlessly entertaining. The class clown who's actually been doing his homework. It’s nearly impossible to not reach for the camera every few minutes to catch another absolutely precious photo of him. His foster has hundreds! What He Would Love From You: A partner (or partners) in life who appreciate how special it is to have him in their lives. Someone who finds teaching him how wonderful life is when his person guides him with calm, steady patience, so he doesn’t feel like he has to make all his own decisions anymore. He’ll love you for showing him how to slow his roll.    Bottom line: Champ is full of happiness and a zest for life. He is sweet, silly, and absolutely worth the dedication it takes to become his teacher, his best friend, and his partner in all of life’s adventures. Champ's training is ongoing, so his fosters ask that potential adopters meet with them first to learn all about him! If you have a dog, a slow, structured introduction is a must. Meet him, learn his quirks, and you'll see why his fosters have loved him so dearly.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 16, 2026, 12:09 pm
