My story

Hi, I’m Coco! I’m a beautiful and sweet Shepherd mix looking for my forever home. I can be a little timid when I first meet new people or find myself in new situations, but with patience, encouragement, and love, I blossom into an affectionate, loyal companion. Once I feel comfortable, my fun, energetic side shines, and I would thrive with an active family that can provide plenty of exercise, mental enrichment, and opportunities to continue building my confidence. I love stuffed animals and chew toys, they`re some of my favorite ways to relax and have fun! I may be open to having a dog sibling, especially a calm, neutral male dog who will give me the space and time I need to adjust, as I can become reactive if I feel pressured or uncertain. I would love to meet any potential dog siblings, as well as the whole family, before going home, and my adopters should be prepared to provide a slow, separate introduction if there is another dog in the home. The good news is I`m already potty trained and dog door trained, so I`m off to a wonderful start! I`m also eligible for the staycation foster-to-adopt program, giving us the chance to get to know each other in your home before making things official.
