Midnight

My story

At eight-years-young, this senior lady is active, playful, and loves outdoor walks and adventures. This fun-loving, playful dog still has plenty of pep in her step! Be it a leisurely walk, a game in the yard, showing off her many tricks or simply being by your side, Midnight is full of love, energy, and a friendly spirit. With so much love to give, Midnight is looking for someone who will see beyond her special needs and appreciate the incredible companion she is.Midnight has spondylosis, which is an age-related condition that causes changes in the bones along the spine. This can sometimes affect her movement and ability to lift her tail. She may occasionally be a little unsteady when walked on a collar, so using a harness is recommended.Midnight has also been prescribed medication to help with bladder control, which her adopter will need to continue as directed by her veterinarian. For more information about spondylosis visit: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=8640798Midnight has shown reactions to loud vehicles and has displayed excitement seeing other animals on leash. Midnight has had positive interactions with other dogs and may be a wonderful addition to a home with a canine companion! We would just require a meet-and-greet at our centre with any resident dogs to help ensure they are a good match and have the potential to live happily together. This smart, affectionate lady is dreaming of a home where she can enjoy her golden years filled with love and adventures, and most of all a family willing to give a deserving dog the chance to be loved and live a happy, fulfilling life.If you would like to meet Midnight, she is staying at 91 Patterson RD. Our senior dog fees at $200, and all dogs are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and more! Our adoption hours are 11 am to 5 pm daily.
