My story

Rowdy is a one-year-old, 33-pound black and white Labrador mix with a heart full of love and a playful puppy spirit. Although he's technically a year old, we suspect he may actually be closer to 9 or 10 months old, and it shows in his joyful enthusiasm for toys, games, and making new friends. When Home Fur Good visited the county shelter to select dogs in need of a quieter environment, staff specifically recommended Rowdy because he was so shy. But even then, his sweet personality shined through. The moment we met him, he army-crawled all the way over for attention and happily soaked up pets from head to tail. Rowdy absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. Now that he's settling in, Rowdy is learning that he doesn't need to crawl everywhere. He has long legs and they're meant for adventures! As his confidence grows, his affectionate, goofy personality becomes more apparent every day. Rowdy would love a family with kids, canine companions, and plenty of opportunities for playtime and cuddles. With a little encouragement and a lot of love, this sweet puppy will blossom into an amazing family dog and loyal best friend. Rowdys adoption fee of $250 covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
