My story

Max is a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue and is not in our direct care. Max is a very handsome purebred Rottweiler that looking for his forever home. He is 3 years old and was rescued 2 1/2 months ago. He has been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. He is also chipped and completely documented. He has never snapped or shown any sort of aggression. We do not know a lot about Max. Max was abandoned on our neighbors one acre lot for about 6 months. We did not see or interact with the neighbor very much. Max is extremely trainable. I do not have any small children, so I do not know how he would react in that situation. The only animal we have is an 8 y/o Aussie Healer named Chip. We have had Chip since he was a puppy. Chip and Max do not get along. Chip is the aggressor. Max wants to play and Chip does not. Chip is half the size of Max, but Max will deescalate and back away. My son has taken him to the Vet in a waiting room full of other dogs without incident. He proceeded to the back for treatment, taken by a female nurse for his procedures, again without any problem. So in summary, he is good with strangers and other dogs. His personality is a curious puppy. He is trained to sit and stay. We do not know about cats and children. He will chase rabbits. He is not aggressive, but he is still a big puppy and he wants to play. After you play with him he settles down and will sit beside you. If interested please contact jsu55555@yahoo.com Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Max, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
